SOAD 2016 Senior Show
University of Louisiana at Lafayette School of Architecture and Design (SOAD) proudly announces the 2016 Senior Show. The SOAD Senior Show is an annual exhibit of select senior works from the current academic year. Work from all three pro-grams with-in the School of Architecture and Design are displayed in the exhibit to show-case the success of student designs as they prepare to enter their careers. A primary goal of the SOAD curriculum is to balance professional and technical education with a liberal arts education, as can be seen in the students’ projects. The exhibitions are located in the Fletcher Hall Gallery, Room 207 on the second floor of Fletcher Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
The School of Architecture and Design embodies the philosophy of student-centered education. Fields of study include: Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, and an MA Architecture. All degree programs emphasize the importance of discovery as the strongest pathway to learning, and promote the development of critical, ethical, and poetic voices for the ongoing betterment of professions and diverse communities.
