The UL School of Music presents “ALL AMERICANS”  a concert by the University Wind Ensemble on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Angelle Auditorium on the UL campus.  Conducted by Dr. William Hochkeppel, the selections are by eight composers who are “all americans.”  Four of them have won Pulitzer Prizes in music, and the program includes a range styles from folk songs to third-stream jazz to liturgical chant.

Featured clarinet soloist will be Lucas Munce, newly appointed professor of clarinet and jazz saxophone, performing PRELUDE, FUGUE, AND RIFFS by Leonard Bernstein.  For that work, a special ensemble comprising students and faculty has been assembled.  The concert is free and open to the public.
