Professor of Music, Andrea Loewy studies Feldenkrais

Professor Loewy participated in private sessions and a workshop in Feldenkrais technique, a grounding in body awareness as it relates to the performer this summer. This intensive week long session of private and group sessions were sponsored through an approved grant of PASA, ArtSparks. Upon her return to Lafayette, Professor Loewy took classes through Opportunity Machine. She will give a public class at Lafayette High School for invited high school students from around Acadiana on Nov 7th in the late afternoon.
