On August 5th, 2003 Lyn Fontenot presented this year's recipient of the Lyn
Fontenot Interior Design Scholarship Competition at an assembly for the
University of Louisiana at Lafayette School of Architecture and Design's
Interior Design students. This year's recipient was Jennie Aubert, a
fourth year interior design student at the University. Jennie is a member
of the UL Lafayette Student Chapter of ASID on which she currently serves
as president. She is also involved with the University's Facility Design
and Management Studio (FDM Studio) which is focused on design and
facilities service to the university. The scholarship is a one time
$1000.00 award given to a design student for their third or fourth year of
study and was based on student submitted work as well as school involvement
and academics.
