Allison Leigh, Assistant Professor of Art History, to Present Lecture at Davidson College and Keynote at the University of Texas

Allison Leigh (Assistant Professor of Art History, Department of Visual Arts) has been invited to give a lecture at Davidson College in North Carolina in late March. She will be presenting a talk entitled "Soldiers, Brothers, Painters, and Sons: Pavel Fedotov and Masculinity in the Mid-19th Century" for Dr. Roman Utkin's class on "Queer Russia" during her visit. She was also asked to deliver the keynote address at the University of Texas at Tyler's Fourth Annual Art History Symposium in April. She will be speaking on the Russian painter Ilya Repin and his work's relation to Edouard Manet's modernism.
