The Department of Visual Arts – Dedicated: 2023 Student Juried Art Exhibition will be on display at the Fletcher Hal

The UL Lafayette College of the Arts are proud to host a community art exhibition and online auction. The 12 x 12 SPARK Exhibition will showcase 12” x 12” artworks from artists in the greater Acadiana region along with UL alums, staff, and faculty. Sales from the exhibition and auction will help raise funds for the college’s SPARK Annual Fund.
The SPARK fund is committed to funding facets of college and student development that help to make the College of the Arts a vibrant and thriving community. This annual fund helps support the Dean’s Scholars program, student organizational support and grants for original creative research.
The exhibition will take place in the Fletcher Hall Gallery located on the 2nd Floor of Fletcher Hall. Works in the exhibition cover a range of media and creative directions. All works will be made available to purchase online starting October 1st. Bids for each piece will start at $200. The exhibition can be viewed online at https://ularts2022.ggo.bid/
The exhibition was curated by Michael Eble, Curator of Exhibitions, Events, and Engagement for the College of the Arts at UL Lafayette.
Please join our College of the Arts community and the participating artists for a closing reception at the Fletcher Hall Gallery on Thursday, October 13 from 6 to 8 pm. Parking is available in the Girard Park Circle Parking Garage located on Girard Park Circle.
