Hagan’s design work featured in Graphis: Poster Annual 2025

This October, Kevin Hagan’s exceptional design work will be showcased in the prestigious Graphis: Poster Annual 2025. Kevin Hagen is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design within the Departmnet of Visual Arts at the UL Lafayette. His poster designs for the 2024 and 2023 Annual Juried Student Exhibitions have been selected for inclusion in this esteemed publication.
The 2025 volume will feature over 500 remarkable posters and celebrates today's top international designers shaping poster art. Presenting award-winning posters that capture cultures, themes, ideas, and movements in a single frame—this is an invaluable source of inspiration for designers, creative teams, and art enthusiasts.
Founded in Switzerland in 1944, Graphis has a rich history of celebrating and archiving creative excellence from around the globe. With nearly 200,000 pieces in their archives, Kevin is honored to be included in this prominent collection.
Hagan is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, Associate Professor Kevin Hagan received his M.F.A. from Louisiana State University and B.F.A. from Auburn University. Currently Hagan co-coordinates of the Graphic Design concentration in the Department of Visual Arts and teaches foundation art courses as well as junior and senior level graphic design courses. Prior to accepting a position at UL Lafayette, Hagan was a multi-media and print designer for the Media Production Group at Auburn University where he oversaw the design and the development of both distant learning materials as well as various advertising and promotional collateral.
Hagan's research includes logo design and development, advertising, and package design. Additionally, he creates poster designs for various social causes both nationally and internationally. Some of his most recent work has been in designing a nonpartisan political poster encouraging people of all ages to vote, and is currently working on a packaging and branding campaign for a new cocktail beverage company startup.
