From Picas to Pixels and everything in between: 2016 Graphic Design Alumni Show

To honor the long history and tradition of producing outstanding graduates in advertising and graphic design, the UL Lafayette Department of Visual Arts is hosting its first ever Graphic Design Alumni Exhibition, entitled, From Picas to Pixels and Everything in Between.

The exhibition will take place from Jan 15- February 1, 2016 at the Fletcher Hall Gallery, room 207. The exhibition was organized by Associate Professors Jeff Lush and Kevin Hagan, who collected works from UL Lafayette alumni and local firms for the exhibition. The collection of works will serve as a teaching tool for students, but also an archive for program and for future exhibitions.

The exhibition includes, posters, catalogs, print materials, websites, product designs and even commercials that run on a continuous loop. The exhibition also provides a showcase for a diverse field and program that has continued to change through each decade.

An opening reception will take place Friday January 15, from 6-8:00pm at the Fletcher Hall Gallery. The exhibition will run through the month of January. Gallery hours are M-Thurs. 9-5, and Fridays 9-noon.
