Photography Bi-Annual Student Field Trip to FotoFest

On March 25-27 Department of Visual Arts Professor Lynda Frese organized a student field trip to the Bi-Annual Fotofest in Huston, Texas. While at FotoFest, students attended professional exhibitions at galleries and museums throughout Houston and visited the Redbud Gallery and artist Sharon Kopriva’s studio. 

FotoFest is an international Biennial of Photography and Photo-related Art in the United States organized by FotoFest®, an international non-profit photographic arts and education organization based in Houston, Texas.

FotoFest's purpose is to promote the exchange of art and ideas through international programs and the presentation of photographic art. Their programs are both international and local, bringing together an international vision of art and cross-cultural exchange with a commitment to community involvement and the enrichment of Houston's cultural resources.
