The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Office of Research recognized Faculty at the Research Recognition Reception for Academic Years 2014-2016. The recognition ceremony was held at the LITE center on November 11th. The recipients for these important recognitions from the College of the Arts are:
Professor Corey Saft - Research Excellence Award. This award recognizes those who have demonstrated exceptional scholarship in their field
Assistant Professor Sarah Young - Rising Star Award. This award recognizes a junior faculty member showing great promise in research, scholarship and mentorship
Professor Brian Kelly - Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award. This award recognizes those who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to undergraduate students and their advancement as undergraduate researchers
Professor Thomas Sammons - Certificate of Achievement in Sponsored Research. This award recognizes those who have been awarded externally sponsored projects in an amount between $100,000 and $500,000 during the 2014-2016 Academic Year.
