Cypress Lake Sextet Presents Recruiting Tour

The Cypress Lake Sextet (UL Lafayette Faculty Jazz Combo) completed a highly successful two and a half day recruiting tour of high school music programs in the New Orleans and North Shore regions of Louisiana. The group welcomed music students to come and perform with it at NOCCA, Brother Martin, Covington, Mandeville, and Fontainbleau High Schools. In addition, the Sextet gave a jazz concert for music students at Fletcher Technical Community College. Several students that attended the performances and workshops have already shown interest in attending the jazz and media programs here at UL Lafayette.
