This February, the College of the Arts Dean's Gallery and the Department of Visual Arts presents Exchange by Brian Ferrell.  Brian is an artist who creates one-of-a-kind furniture, tableware, and lighting in Jeannette, PA. Since 2000, his work has been shown in over 50 solo and group national exhibitions, published in American Craft Magazine, Pewter Studio, 500 Tables, and Cast. His work can be found in private collections in the US, Europe, and Dubai.  Ferrell was honored with a solo exhibition at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater during the summer of 2008 and was a NICHE Award winner for metal hollowware in 2013.  He holds a BFA in jewelry/metals from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an MFA from the Program in Artisanry at University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. He is currently Associate Professor of Art at Seton Hill University and on the Board of Directors for the Society of North American Goldsmiths.  images and information on Brian’s work, can be viewed at www.brianferrelldesigns.com
