Top Stories

"Rasa Spaces is a collaborative project between faculty and students from the Department of Visual Arts and the Department of Performing Arts, involving animation, projection mapping, sound performance, and dance. Rasa is a Sanskrit word meaning the aesthetic flavor of art, music and dance that evokes an emotion or feeling".

This performance involves animation along with projection mapping, performance, and dance to describe “Rasa Spaces”, inspired by the training process called Rasaboxes which train the performer's emotional, physical and vocal expressivity and agility in a psychophysical process - engaging the whole body-mind. “Rasa” means an aesthetic flavor of any visual, dance, literary or musical work that evokes an emotion or feeling in the audience.
