“Shared Impressions: Selections from the Department of Visual Arts Student Printmaking Workshop", an exhibition organized by the Departments' printmaking student group P.R.E.S.S., is located on the first floor in Dupre’ Library. The exhibition showcases 15 prints that explore and demonstrate various printmaking techniques within the lithography, intaglio, woodcut and silkscreen processes that have been produced by current and past students concentrating in Department of Visual Arts printmaking concentration.

The Printmaking Research Educational Student Society (PRESS) in the Department of Visual Arts is a printmaking student group that encourages students to engage in the professional printmaking community and aims in the assisting in the understanding of postgraduate studies and the possibilities in both fine art and commercial careers in printmaking. PRESS achieves this through the development, production, and presentation of undergraduate printmaking research; the encouragement of professional development by attending the Southern Graphics Council International (SGCI) Printmaking Conference; and fostering student growth by sponsoring and collaborating with the Department of Visual arts Marais Press visiting artist program.
