Department of Visual Arts Professor Brian Kelly Prints and Research Included in Multiple Exhibitions and on the Campus of the University of South Alabama

During the summer Professor Brian Kelly had prints included in a national printmaking exhibition at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, Fort Wayne IN (June11-August 28th) and he also had prints included in the international exhibition “Contemporary Print: An International Survey of Printmaking” at the Baton Rouge Arts Council in Baton Rouge, L.A. (August 8-September1, 2016). Professor Kelly was also included in “SATEEN DURA-LUXE” a national printmaking portfolio sponsored by the Kansas State University and Indiana Wesleyan University. This portfolio will be exhibited during the 2016 National Mid American Printmaking Conference at the University of Louisville in October. Additionally, during the fall semester, Professor Kelly will have a solo exhibition of his prints concurrently with a retrospective exhibition of Marais Press collaborations at the Collins C. Diboll Art Gallery on the campus of Loyola University in New Orleans (November 3rd– March 30th, 2017). Finally, Professor Kelly will be a visiting artist at the University of South Alabama from November 10-12th where he will be producing a lithographic edition, giving a lithography workshop and public lecture on his personal work.
