Professor Mark DeWitt Appointed Fellow of the Center for Louisiana Studies

Mark DeWitt, the Dr. Tommy Comeaux Endowed Chair in Traditional Music, was recently appointed a Fellow of the Center for Louisiana Studies at our university. CLS Fellows are named in recognition of their commitment to the research teaching, and promotion of the various fields that make up Louisiana Studies, broadly defined. The fellows program is designed to reflect and encourage the interdisciplinary collaboration that is inherent to the field of Louisiana Studies." Fellows are expected to contribute to the Center's research projects, outreach, and archival collections during their five-year terms.
