SOAD Design Day Fall 2017

The School of Architecture and Design hosted it's biannual Design Day on October 21, 2017. Prospective high school students were exposed to life here at the SOAD in a full morning of activities which included information regarding the disciplines of Architecture, Interior Design, and Industrial Design. The students engaged in a mock studio project, tour of Fletcher Hall, Alumni panel discussion, and had the opportunity to experience their studio space of interest. This Design Day, specifically, was a joint event linked to UL Lafayette's Preview Day. With this addition, students were able to also tour the full campus, eat lunch in the new Student Union, and participate in Q & A sessions on Admissions, Housing and Scholarships. A big 'thank you' to all the SOAD Faculty and student volunteers that made this day another success!"
