On February 28th the Baton Rouge chapter of the American Advertising Federation hosted their annual Addy Awards Ceremony at L’Auberge Casino. The Department of Visual Arts Graphic Design concentration was well represented with four students and faculty winning several awards. The following individuals were recognized at the event:

Jessica Gullatt - Gold award for C.S. Lewis Drop Cap Series

Carlin Cormier - Gold award for Airstream campaign

Jessie Quantrille - Silver Award for Artist Profiles Booklet 

Loryn LeBlanc - Gold award for Earth Day Celebration poster & Silver award for Crown Crane Gifts & Goods

Associate Professor Kevin Hagan – Silver and Judges Award for “Make Your Parents Proud” poster design.

Associate Professor Jeff Lush — Was recognized for his screen printing of the Hilliard Museum’s Silver Award winning entry Summer at the Hilliard poster.

All Gold winners are automatically forwarded on to the regional level of the competition, and all silver awards had the option to submit their entries if they so choose too. The results of the regional awards are expected within the next few weeks. The winners of this round of the competition will then move on to the national level.
