This year’s UL Symphony Halloween Concert was performed via live stream on Friday, October 30. Orchestra members wore costumes and present a program of Halloween themed music. Musical highlights of this year’s concert included: Saint Saens – Danse Macabre, Mussorgsky – Night on Bald Mountain, Rossini – Overture to The Barber of Seville, and Williams – Nimbus 2000 from Harry Potter.

Orchestra members were able to safely social distance for rehearsals and the concert. We used the full stage and half of the audience to do so. It was a challenge for the musicians to effectively communicate and stay together over such a large area, but the UL Students made it happen!

Over 2400 viewers have tuned in from across the US, Canada, France and even Australia to view the performance. Watch below.
