EmeryMcClure Architecture Featured in Exhibit HallThe work of emerymcclure architecture is featured in an exhibition coinciding with the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale alongside some of the most distinctive architecture and design practices in the country. A SOUTH FORTY: Contemporary Architecture and Design in the American South is an exhibition curated and organized by the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design and modus studio, and highlights the work of nearly forty practices. It is installed in the Great Hall of Palazzo Mora of the European Cultural Center and will be open from May 22nd through November 21st, 2021. emerymcclure architecture is the Lafayette-based design research practice of Associate Professor Sarah Young, Interim Dean Michael McClure, and Ursula Emery McClure.

A SOUTH FORTY aims to provide an overview of the current vitality of contemporary architecture and design in the American South, through both illustrated profiles of buildings and practices, and statements of principles and observations by those in practice in the region.

In partnership with the literary journal The Oxford American, A SOUTH FORTY will also be featured in their annual summer issue focused on the idea of "place" in the culture of the American South.
