Job Duties
Supervision and oversight of the General, Metal, and Digital Fabrication Facilities.
What do people think you do?
Run 3d printers and laser cut files for students.
What do you actually do?
I assist in the day-to-day operations of the SoAD fabrication facilities, including teaching students how to use the equipment and the available resources. Those resources include basic and advanced woodworking tools, laser cutting, and 3d printing.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy walking students through their projects. Giving students useful information and seeing their projects proceed is a fantastic part of the job.
