Allison Leigh Teaching Art History ClassDr. Allison Leigh (Assistant Professor of Art History) had new research accepted for publication in a forthcoming volume entitled Russia: Courtly Gifts and Cultural Diplomacy (edited by Louise Hardiman) which will appear from Brill later in 2021.

She also presented at the annual conference of the College Art Association (CAA) on High-Resolution Photographic Technology: New Pedagogical Opportunities in Art History in February. In November, she will be chairing a session on “Russian Representations of Race in the Age of Empire: From Abyssinia to Samarkand” at the annual convention of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES).
